Everything starts

at the table.

Hi, I’m Elliot — baker, voice coach, and forever believer in second helpings.

For me, everything starts at the table. Growing up, it was where stories were shared, big decisions were made, and second helpings were always encouraged. Whether it was a loud Sunday lunch with my family or a quiet moment planning my next recipe, the table was — and still is — the heart of it all.

I applied for The Great Australian Bake Off at that very table, on a whim, with no formal training — just a deep love for feeding people and a kitchen full of inherited recipes, passed down from my mum and grandparents. What started as a fun “why not?” turned into one of the most joyful, nerve-wracking, and life-changing experiences of my life.

Walking into the Bake Off shed, I realised that baking wasn’t just something I loved — it was how I connected, created, and expressed myself. Each bake told a story, and suddenly, I wasn’t just baking — I was performing.

Since then, I’ve built a vibrant online baking community full of fellow food lovers and curious cooks. Whether I’m piping Swiss meringue, layering mince pies, or singing show tunes while my sourdough proofs, I’ve found my sweet spot — where baking meets performance.

That’s how The Singing Baker was born — a joyful blend of voice and show stopping bakes. These days, I’m just as likely to be coaching vocal technique as I am whipping up a showstopping bake — sometimes both on the same day (especially if I’m heading to Channel 7’s Sunrise or The Morning Show).

So whether you’re here for recipes, or just a little joy in your feed — welcome. There’s always room at my table.
